How would I say "she added", if I were using "add" to indicate the continuation of a dialogue?

You would use the verb ''ajouté'' (ah-joo-tay) which means "to add on":

Li té vlé ajouté pawòl-li adan diskisyon-nou.

She wanted to add her words to our discussion.

If you want to indicate that someone entered a discussion in a rude manner you would say:

Li jété pawòl-li adan diskisyon-nou.

He or she ''threw'' his or her words into our discussion.

Ask me anything
